Size and performance
The electronically controllable pinion gear motors are made of an aluminium or gray cast iron housing and are available in several sizes. You get the combination of helical gear, frequency converter and three-phase motor with an output of 0.18kW, 0.25kW, 0.37kW, 0.55kW, 0.75kW, 1.1kW, 1.5kW, 2.2kW, 3.0kW, 4kW, 5.5kW, 7.5kW to 22kW.
Frequency inverter installation
The EASYdrive frequency inverter is mounted on the peg of the motor terminal box by means of an adapter plate and can optionally be mounted in 90° increments by turning the motor. The JS-Technik geared motor can be installed in almost any required position. The mounting positions are designated M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, M6.
Frequently needed accessories
Since the controllable drive unit is often operated below 35 hertz, in such a case, the motor must be protected against overheating with an external forced cooling fan. Furthermore, a high self-locking of the gear unit is often necessary. Since this is often too low for gearboxes, a dehumidifier motor with brake is needed. Of course, we supply and install the external fan and the motor brake to the required spur gear motor.
The special frequency inverter
The frequency inverter optionally offers the possibility of becoming "bus-capable" with the aid of fieldbus modules. With CANopen, EtherCAT, Modbus (already included), Profibus, Profinet and Sercos, the EASYdrive offers compatibility with almost all common control environments. The customer can select the bus system that is relevant for him and thus integrate the EASYdrive ideally into the control environment of his application. The required optional control variant must be specified for orders. The EASYdrive controllers are CE, UL and CSA certified. The EASYdrive lasts without external filter measures the EMC class C2 (for 3-phase mains supply), or C1 (for 1-phase mains supply).
