2. When is a motor with a frequency inverter used?

There are of course a variety of reasons for using a motor with an integrated inverter. Here are some examples: This drive unit is often set up in a machine room or outdoors, where different speeds are required on the electric motor. Sometimes the motor connection cable is simply too long to operate the drive without errors. Often only the frequency inverter protection class IP65 is required. Due to the protection class, no extra control cabinet is required. Complex measurement and control technology can also be used. Then the reduced commissioning time is the reason why a motor with an inverter is used.
