A side from these sizes, medium-voltage motors are also available. JS motors are supplied in various speeds, i.e.
motors with pole numbers of 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10, and international line voltages and frequencies, i.e. 230V/400V 50Hz
or 265V/460V 60Hz and 400V/690V 50Hz or 460V/795V 60Hz.

The conversion factor between kW and HP is 0.73549875. That means, 1 HP equals 0.73549875 kW and 1 kW is
equal to 1.359621617 HP.
Repair of AC motors
If an electric motor is defective and needs repairing, please do not hesitate to contact us. We have the required

IE3 / IE4 AC motors
You can also purchase premium-quality IE3 / IE4 energy-saving motors. The most important efficiency
classes are IE1, IE2 IE3 and IE4. The legal requirements of minimum efficiency are as follows:
- since 16 June 2011, the minimum efficiency of motors (0.75 kW - 375 kW) must be in compliance
with the efficiency IE2;
- since 1 January 2015, the minimum efficiency of motors (7.5 kW - 375 kW) must be in compliance
with the efficiency IE2, or the motors must be operated as IE3 with frequency inverter;
- since 1 January 2017, the minimum efficiency of motors (0.75 kW - 375 kW must be in compliance
with the efficiency IE2, or the motors must be operated as IE3 with frequency inverter.

Three-phase motors with a variable number of poles
In addition to standard motors, also motors with a variable number of poles are offered. Our motors ex stock
are available with two speeds, with a constant torque, in delta connection / double Y connection, at a rated
voltage of 400 V, 50 Hz. Moreover, they come in various designs i.e. in sizes of 71, 80, 90, 100, 112 and 132
and in different construction types such as B3, B5, B35, B14, B34, V1 and V6. Altering the speed of the
motors is effected by varying the number of poles i.e. 2/4 (3000/1500 rpm), 4/8 (1500/750 rpm),
4/6 (1500/750 rpm), 6/8 (1000/750 rpm) and 2/8 (3000/750 rpm). Motor powers range from
0.08 kW to 5.5 kW. Higher powers, motors with three speeds, with a torque square
function or Dahlander motors are available on request.
