4. What is the purpose of a centrifugal switch in an AC motor?

The centrifugal switch of the single-phase motor with two capacitors is located on the B side of the motor and switches off the starting capacitor after the increased starting. This technology is used with 2 + 4 pole AC motors. For single-phase motors with a low speed, i.e. from the 6-pole version, this function is carried out by a starting relay.
